Friday 16th February saw the Weald 12 Car Championship head down to Thanet, for the first time in many years. A healthy entry with 3 reserves (which was fortunate as mechanical gremlins robbed two crews of their chance, so a sudden drop in marshal numbers resulted in the promotion of crews to a drive) and a great evening around roads that might’ve been yellow on the map, but felt like whites!
Mick Rose and Dick Athow put in a fantastic performance for the first clean run of this years championship (0F and 0m dropped).
The next event is the Bexley Light Car Club round on the 8th of March.
